She is pushing boundaries with her own artistic performance. Between her rapidly growing Instagram and Youtube channels, you can find her covers and original pieces to enjoy.
Before I met Stephen and joined the Academy, I was recovering from a horrible car accident. I had broken my back. I had post-concussion syndrome. I was getting out of an abusive relationship, and trying to take care of my boys. It was very hard.
I had trouble walking correctly, speaking, writing, and hearing. I always struggled with memory loss. I was home alone most of the time, without any friends, and my family couldn’t help.
I had started to teach myself guitar but wasn’t making much progress. It was even painful to put on headphones to listen to music and sing.
Before the Ridley Academy, it was a struggle. I have Meniere’s Disease, which causes severe vertigo with loud sounds and flashing lights, and it can even lead to seizures.
Even watching YouTube videos was very difficult for me.
I often got confused and had trouble comprehending and remembering what was being taught.
It felt like I would make progress and then suddenly regress.
It was a gut feeling, a calling from a higher power. Stephen’s passion drew me in. It resonated deep inside me. And then there he was, a man in flesh and blood.
Additionally, Stephen is highly intelligent and knowledgeable. He knows what he’s talking about, no nonsense. I appreciate the straightforward approach. I was sold.
But when I started the actual learning process, it was different from anything I had tried before. It combined vast knowledge with simplicity, making it easier to grasp. It was like finding a true gem.
The Ridley Academy really worked for me. His quick videos catered to my memory loss were just what I needed. I also loved the way he broke down complex words, something I did on my own when looking them up. It felt familiar. He pinpointed the important aspects to learn in order to play.
After just one week, I was able to play John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
It’s incredible! The Academy’s approach incorporates strategic thinking and a well-thought-out learning process.
Plus, Stephen is charismatic, fun, and captivating. You just want to make him proud. I can’t explain it, but he keeps your attention, making the learning experience enjoyable. It’s an environment that combines fun, intelligence, and camaraderie. What more could I ask for?
Moreover, the Academy teaches other valuable life lessons. Self-validation has become one of my most cherished possessions, and it has helped me beyond music. Overall, it has been a tremendous gain in my life.
Absolutely! I not only learned to play the piano, but I exceeded my own expectations by writing 16 of my own songs. There’s nothing cooler than seeing your name on a copyright certificate for something you created out of thin air.
I will even collaborate with international supermodel Rudy Bundini for my music video in New York next year. He saw my music and wanted to work with me.
As I’ve improved, the possibilities have expanded. It’s become so much more than that.
Additionally, I will be performing for the Gabriella’s Smile Foundation, a cancer foundation for children, this summer. Giving back to society has always been a dream of mine. It seems that with hard work and self-education, my dreams are gradually coming true.
Well, I now have enough confidence to eliminate toxic influences from my life, although it was a difficult process. I used to be a big people pleaser and somewhat of a doormat. But as I learned to value myself, my confidence grew, and I became more assertive in pursuing what I wanted from life.
I surrounded myself only with people who respect and appreciate me, just as I respect others. It created a balanced and loving environment.
My family has become very supportive, and we enjoy meaningful conversations. I couldn’t ask for more!
The Ridley Academy Facebook group has also been instrumental in fostering a sense of community and support. I actively participate and cheer on others.
It brings me joy to witness their growth and be part of their journeys.
Joining the Ridley Academy was the best decision I have ever made in my life.
It has completely transformed me into a different person, in the best possible way.
I believe it can do the same for anyone else. In so many ways, it has been a lifesaver for me, and I mean that sincerely.
I love this Academy! I’m glad I found my musical home here!
